Trade Price Cars Racing enjoyed another point scoring weekend in the British Touring Car Championship 2019! Watch our highlight video as we returned to the fastest track in the UK for another action packed weekend.

The 2019 BTCC is underway and we opened up with a blistering 2nd place in race 1 from Jake Hill along with Mark Blundell scoring points in 14th. Jake Hill went onto secure 4th place in race 2 and Mark again impressed in race 3 with a great 19th after starting 27th on the grid.

When filming from Friday evening until Sunday evening there is bound to be some funny bits! Enter the Vlog from our action packed race weekend. Time to meet the team and the drivers in a slightly different way than you are used to.

British Touring Car Championship 2020

Trade Price Cars Racing will once again field a pair of Audi S3s on the back of a stunning 2019 season that included a fine win at Knockhill and ended with the team sitting fourth in the Independent Teams’ Championship. Bobby Thompson

The 23-year-old from Hornchurch is the first driver confirmed with the team for 2020.

Bobby started his career in karting before taking the step into car racing, initially in the Ford Fiesta Championship before two meetings in British Formula Ford in 2014, where he picked up six top ten finishes in six starts.

James Gornall

The 35-year-old from Bedford will be making his series debut with the second-year team as part of a new look driver line-up alongside Bobby Thompson, but brings a wealth of experience from a hugely successful racing career to date.

A multiple champion in karting, James – known to his fans as Jiggy – carried his success into car racing with a championship victory in BARC Formula Renault but it was a move into the British GT Championship in 2008 that saw his career hit new heights.
